BASE is an innovative app that leverages the excitement of football to enhance educational experiences in schools. Designed as a partner tool for teachers, BASE transforms the traditional classroom setting into an engaging learning environment where children can acquire the same educational content through play. The app's initial phase is structured similarly to a sports tournament, featuring three seasons. Each season is further divided into four competitive levels: Regional, National, Continental, and World, complemented by a Pre-Season. These tournaments vary in the number and difficulty of questions, which are referred to as matches, keeping the gameplay dynamic and challenging.
BASE employs gamification techniques, rewarding students with coins, points, and trophies to maintain and heighten their interest in learning. The educational content for BASE has been meticulously crafted by the team at the Vini.Jr Institute, in collaboration with educators from the Paulo Reglus Neves Freire Municipal School. Initially, BASE's educational technology targets the early years of Elementary School, specifically catering to students in grades 1 through 5, aged 6 to 10. By integrating sports with technology, BASE aims to captivate young learners and facilitate their educational journey. All questions within the app adhere to the guidelines of the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), ensuring alignment with national educational standards.
