Ideal for both beginners and seasoned players, Minnesota Whist is a straightforward yet strategic partnership trick-taking game. It's an excellent opportunity to enhance your strategic thinking and teamwork skills in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. Collaborate with your AI partner to outsmart your opponents and master the art of trick-taking games.
To emerge victorious, you and your AI partner must outwit the opposing team and be the first partnership to reach the predetermined win target, which could be either 13 or seven. Keep a close eye on your all-time and session stats to monitor your progress and growth in the game.

Quickfire Rules:
Once cards are evenly dealt among four players, each player bids either high (with a black card) or low (with a red card). The bid cards are revealed sequentially, starting from the player to the left of the dealer. The first black card flipped signals a 'high' round, where teams strive to win as many tricks as possible. If all cards turned are red, the round is 'low,' and teams aim to capture as few tricks as they can.
In a high bid round, the player to the right of the one who 'granded' leads the first trick. In a low bid round, the player to the dealer's left starts. Players must follow suit if possible; otherwise, they can play any card. The trick is won by the highest card of the led suit, and the winner of the trick leads the next one.
At the end of each round, points are tallied based on the tricks collected by each partnership. In high bid rounds, the granding team scores a point for each trick over six. If they fail to reach seven tricks, the opposing team earns one or two points per trick over six, depending on the 'set bonus' setting. In low bid rounds, teams score a point for each trick under seven.
