Audio Visual Lessons for Evangelism and Basic Bible Teaching
These audio visual lessons are designed for evangelism and basic Bible teaching, based on the Sunday School Lessons published by the AIC Sunday School Committee, Juba, Southern Sudan. They have been adapted for general use by Global Recordings Network Australia, with permission from the Africa Inland Church, Sudan. These resources are specifically intended to be used with the audio visual picture books available from Global Recordings Network, which were created in response to requests from young people tasked with teaching in Sunday School. The visual aids provided by the pictures play a crucial role in enhancing the learning experience.

This app focuses solely on the lesson segment of the Sunday School, with each lesson designed to last approximately twenty minutes. The remaining time for activities such as singing, prayer, Bible reading, and quizzes is left for teachers to organize. It is recommended that each lesson concludes with a brief prayer and a song that reinforces the week's teaching. The lessons cater to children aged 7 to 12, providing a broad yet age-appropriate educational experience.
Initially, these lessons were handwritten weekly by teachers in exercise books, kept intentionally concise. While some have been expanded, they remain brief to allow teachers to elaborate during their preparation. Each lesson's aim, printed at the top, guides its teaching focus. Given the age group, the lessons do not cover the entirety of God's truths at once but instead highlight one or two key truths per lesson, helping children gradually build a deeper understanding of God.
The lessons are designed to serve as a guide for teachers, akin to a walking stick rather than crutches, encouraging them to engage actively with the material.
