As a manager, you'll compete against other real-life players or bots controlling teams without a human manager. Matches are simulated on servers according to a schedule, with outcomes determined by an engine that takes into account your team's strategy and the individual qualities of your players—yes, all 40 of them!
Be among the first to guide your city to glory! CFM currently features teams from 32 countries, including powerhouses like England, France, Germany, and the USA, as well as emerging football nations such as India, Indonesia, and Nigeria. Each country's championship is divided into four divisions, with promotion and relegation at the end of each season. Additionally, every country hosts a national cup tournament, where all teams battle it out in a knockout format.
The top teams from each country can compete in prestigious international tournaments: the Cup of Cups for national cup finalists and the Cup of Champions for the top two teams in each country's premier division. As a manager, you'll start with 19 players, 11 of whom are set to play by default. You have the flexibility to adjust player positions and lineups to suit your strategy.
Victory brings more than just glory; it attracts fans, boosting ticket sales. Use your earnings to enhance your stadium, accommodating more supporters and increasing your team's income. Dive into the "Transfers" section to buy and sell players, coaches, scouts, and physios. If you're keen on nurturing young talent, invest in an academy that will generate promising young players at the end of each season.
Optimize your team's performance with upgrades to fitness, training grounds, and the theory center. Assign players to specific training sessions, guided by coaches who can accelerate skill development. Be mindful of player fatigue—over-training can lead to injuries and subpar performances. A top-notch physio and a well-equipped physio center are crucial for swift player recovery.
