Alphabet - Alphabet for Children from 3 to 5 Years Old and Toddlers in Russian. Learning Letters and Sounds
Talking Alphabet for Children and Toddlers is an educational game crafted with love, inspired by my experience teaching my own daughter. It's designed to help children and their parents explore the world of letters and sounds in an engaging, interactive way. The game offers a variety of modes including letters, sounds, vowels, consonants, voiced, and unvoiced options. It features vibrant visuals, an intuitive interface, and is professionally voiced by a Russian language teacher.
Learning the alphabet is crucial for young children as it lays the foundation for reading skills. Our game includes two distinct voiceovers: one for sounds and another for letters, all in Russian.
This alphabet game is perfect for both preschoolers and toddlers. While the ideal age for starting alphabet learning ranges from 4 to 6 years, precocious children can begin as early as 3 years old, with optimal learning occurring around 5 years before they enter school.
We recommend starting with vowels: A, O, U, Y, I, E, Yo, E, Yu, Ya (10 in total). These are easier for children to pronounce and master. Initially, they learn 6 basic vowel sounds: A, O, U, Y, I, E, followed by 4 vowel letters that combine two sounds: E = Y + O; E = Y + E; Yu = Y + U; Ya = Y + A. Vowels can also be categorized as stressed or unstressed.
Moving on to consonants, children can learn B, V, G, D, Zh, Z, J, K, L, M, N, P, R, S, T, F, X, Ts, Ch, Sh, Shch (21 in total), along with the 2 auxiliary letters Ь and Ъ. The Russian alphabet comprises 33 letters in total.
This educational game is completely free and designed to help your child master sounds and letters quickly. If your child enjoys the game, please leave a review—it's the best way to show your appreciation. Thank you, and wishing happiness to your family!
