Bunker is a game that originated in Russia. The premise is a post-apocalyptic world where the only refuge is a bunker with limited space. This board game hones your discussion skills and teaches you how to build compelling arguments.
Players are the few survivors of a global catastrophe. Each one's goal is to secure a spot in the bunker, which has room for only half of them. The group, however, must ensure that only those with a healthy genetic profile and useful skills are admitted.
Furthermore, every individual allowed inside must contribute meaningfully to the community. This team is responsible for the monumental task of rebuilding humanity.
Your primary tools in the fight for a bunker spot are persuasion, strategic discussion, and the ability to highlight your strengths. Success also depends on strategic planning and the capacity to anticipate others' moves.
- Mafia
A mafia has infiltrated a peaceful town, and the innocent citizens must identify the criminals and expel them to ensure their safety. If they fail, the mafia will seize control, and the civilians will be doomed.
- Alias
A fast-paced word game that tests your wit, speed, and reflexes. The objective is straightforward: score more points than any other team. This requires explaining the words on your cards as quickly and clearly as possible. Victory goes to either the best explainer or the most cohesive team of guessers.
- Spy
At the start, each player receives a card naming a single location—except for the "Spy," whose card is blank.
Players take turns asking and answering questions about their shared location. The game continues until the spy correctly guesses the location or another player successfully identifies the spy.
At any point, a player can accuse someone of being the traitor and must then present their case.
All players then vote "For" or "Against" the accusation. If the vote is unanimous "For" and the accused is indeed the spy, the civilians win. If not, the spy wins.
If the vote is not unanimous, the game resumes from where it was interrupted.
The spy can also call for a pause to announce the suspected location. If the spy is correct, they win; if not, the civilians are victorious.
