索尼已確認，PS5 Pro發售時將提供超過50款畫麵增強遊戲。多方報道也提前披露了PS5 Pro的規格參數。

索尼在其官方PlayStation博客上公布了PS5 Pro於11月7日發售時可玩畫質增強遊戲的完整列表，共有55款遊戲在首發時支持PS5 Pro增強功能。“11月7日，PlayStation 5 Pro將開啟一個令人印象深刻的視覺新時代，”索尼表示。“這款主機能夠實現諸如高級光線追蹤、PlayStation光譜超分辨率以及通過升級後的GPU實現60hz或120hz的流暢幀率等圖形增強（取決於您的電視）。”

此前，索尼已確認PS5 Pro配備“Tempest 3D音效”，可提供更沉浸式的音頻輸出，並改進DualSense無線控製器的觸覺反饋。它還引入了PlayStation光譜超分辨率，這是一項AI驅動的功能，可進一步增強視覺輸出。該主機還被證實具有向後兼容性，使用PS5 Pro遊戲加速功能，可在PS5 Pro上玩PS4遊戲。

在PS5 Pro周四發售之前，一些幸運地提前拿到主機的網友分享了這款PS5最新迭代產品的規格參數。需要注意的是，索尼官方尚未公布正式規格，因此這些信息僅供參考。

科技媒體Digital Foundry在其早期評測中表示，PS5 Pro使用AMD Ryzen Zen 2 8核/16線程處理器，據報道，該處理器與其使用的RDNA（Radeon DNA）顯卡引擎一起，可產生16.7 Teraflops的速度——這將是對PS5 10.23 Teraflop輸出的大幅升級。之前的報道表明，PS5 Pro的升級版GPU的功率比目前的PS5主機高67%，內存速度快28%，遊戲渲染速度快45%。

此外，Digital Foundry的評測顯示，PS5 Pro的工作溫度範圍為5攝氏度到35攝氏度，配備2TB定製SSD存儲空間、USB A型和C型端口、光驅端口，並支持藍牙5.1連接。
