Quickfire Rules
Oh Hell! follows the traditional rules of trick-taking card games. A card can be beaten by a higher card of the same suit or any trump card. Players must follow suit when a card is played. If unable to follow suit, they can play a trump card to win the trick or a non-trump card to throw away and lose the trick.
Scoring in Oh Hell! is straightforward: each trick won scores one point, and accurately predicting your trick total at the bidding stage earns you 10 points per round, or 5 points if you bid zero and the 'Nil Bid Worth 5' rule is active.
