Get ready for an epic update with LoL: Wild Rift Patch 6.1: Ascending Stars, set to launch on April 16th. This patch brings a cosmic overhaul that will transform everything from the menus to the battlefield, as you explore the Dual Nova galaxy, featuring the Challenger’s Star and Adventure’s Star.
Three new champions are set to shake up the game with their unique abilities. Ryze, the Rune Mage, offers immense AoE damage and the ability to teleport teammates across the map with Realm Warp. Nocturne, the Eternal Nightmare, thrives on chaos, using Paranoia to plunge enemies into darkness. Zilean, the Chronokeeper, manipulates time, slowing enemies and reviving allies with Chronoshift.
Several champions are also receiving reworks. Garen’s Courage now scales over time, enhancing his tankiness, while his Judgment ability will shred enemy armor. Ambessa transitions from the jungle to the Baron lane with adjustments to her damage and life steal. Smaller tweaks are also planned for Diana, Fiora, Jax, Sona, and Kalista.
Beyond champion changes, a new Bandle-inspired Rift is set to mix things up in non-Ranked modes, featuring Enchanted Gifts that appear through portals during the laning phase. Mages will enjoy some long-awaited item updates, including the new Bandle Fantasy item that adds extra burst damage, Hextech GLP800 that slows enemies with frost bombs, and Malignance that enhances ultimate abilities, making spellcasters even more formidable.
Ranked mode is also getting an upgrade. A new season begins with the launch of the Challenger’s Star, bringing updates to the Ranked store and an easier way to earn seasonal rewards. Midway through the patch, the Adventure’s Star unlocks, introducing AAAARAM—a fresh take on ARAM with added augments and galactic visuals.
Don't miss out on the Wild Pass, which will introduce two stunning skins: Wondertown Twisted Fate and Battlecast Nasus. Twisted Fate’s new look introduces an entirely new skinline, adding even more flair to your collection.
