The fun doesn't end with catching Vanillite. Evolve it into Vanilluxe during the event or up to May 4th, and you'll unlock a powerful Charged Attack called Avalanche. This move boasts 90 power in Trainer Battles and 85 power in Gyms and Raids, significantly boosting your battle capabilities.
For those looking to dive deeper into the event, a Community Day Special Research ticket is available for $2. Completing the tasks will reward you with encounters with Vanillite set against a unique Might and Mastery-themed background, additional Vanillite encounters, a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and more exciting goodies.
A Timed Research opportunity will extend through the following week, providing another chance to encounter Vanillite with the exclusive backdrop. Additionally, engaging in event-themed Field Research tasks will earn you Stardust, Great Balls, and further encounters with Vanillite. Some tasks may lead to a Vanillite with a special event background.
Throughout the event, several bonuses will be active to enhance your gameplay. You'll earn triple XP for catches, double Candy for each Pokémon caught, and if you're level 31 or above, double the odds of receiving Candy XL.
