Vampire Survivors has just released an exciting new free DLC named Emerald Diorama, marking its largest update to date. This DLC brings a unique crossover experience with Square Enix’s acclaimed fantasy RPG series, SaGa, infusing JRPG elements into the beloved game.
Emerald Diorama Brings JRPG Vibes to Vampire Survivors
The Emerald Diorama DLC introduces a fresh stage that mimics a mini world map, enhancing the game with a world-hopping adventure. Players can dive into this new environment and explore over a dozen new characters, ranging from puppeteers to those who sing cursed songs, adding a rich layer of diversity to the gameplay.
In addition, the update boasts over 16 new weapons and introduces the innovative Glimmer system. This system allows players to randomly acquire new skills during their runs, enhancing the strategic depth and excitement of each playthrough. The soundtrack also gets a boost with nine new music tracks to immerse you further into the game's atmosphere.
To unlock the Emerald Diorama, players need to visit Moongolow and interact with a new merchant. Purchase the Emerald Disk for 50,000 gold, and you'll be able to unlock the content progressively. The DLC also introduces character parties, allowing you to assemble and command your own mini squad for a more collaborative gaming experience.
Don't miss out on the new adventures! The DLC includes two mini-campaigns, "To End an Ice Age" for the base game and "Tides of the Foscari" which expands the new DLC's content, each with six engaging chapters.
Alongside the DLC, There’s Another Free Update
Simultaneously, the base game has received a free update dubbed The Coop, which introduces a fun chicken-themed twist. The update features a new character, Gazebo, along with a new weapon and a relic that accelerates the game's pace.
Players can achieve numerous new achievements and unlock Darkana. To fully unlock The Coop's potential, collect 500 lifetime floor chickens. For an extra tip, refrain from killing anything during the first minute of playing The Coop to unlock the Gaze of Gaea. Evolving it with Parm Aegis will further unlock Gazebo, adding a new layer of strategy to your gameplay.
