Upcoming Update Adds New Building, Jukebox, and More
Schedule 1 continues to dominate Steam's top-selling charts, thanks to its regular updates. On May 1, TVGS solo developer Tyler unveiled a sneak peek of the upcoming update via a Twitter (X) post.
Tyler's post included several images showcasing what players can anticipate in the next patch, which is nearing its open beta phase. The visuals highlight a new building labeled "Stash and Dash," a Jukebox that might allow players to switch the game's soundtrack, and an intriguing empty corridor.
Although an official release date for Schedule 1's next update hasn't been announced, it will first be available in the beta branch before its full rollout. To participate, fans need to adjust their Steam settings for the game and opt into the beta. For more details on TVGS's plans, fans can visit the game's Trello board.
Plans for Map Expansion
Last week, Tyler launched his inaugural dev stream on Twitch, offering fans a deeper look into his plans and upcoming updates. During his first livestream, he displayed some 3D modeling work and discussed his vision for a future map expansion.
Tyler aims to introduce a "swampy, slummy area" and enhance the upscale part of the town with additional houses on the cliffs. His subsequent goal is to develop the island across from the main area.
While these expansions sound promising and would enrich the game, they might take longer to materialize due to Tyler being a solo developer. Nonetheless, fans are eagerly anticipating the exciting developments in the upcoming updates.
