There are two locations to manage subtitles within Avowed's settings: the "UI" and "Accessibility" menus. Locate "Conversation Subtitles" and "Chatter Subtitles" within either menu and adjust them to your preference. The "Accessibility" menu offers clearer organization for these settings.
Why Some Players Disable Subtitles:
Many find subtitles distracting, even though they are a crucial accessibility feature. Personal preference dictates whether subtitles are beneficial or intrusive.
Avowed's Accessibility Features:
Avowed provides standard accessibility options. Subtitle customization includes font size, background opacity, and display duration. Additional features address motion sickness (reducing camera shake and head bobbing) and improve gameplay for various players through aim assist adjustments, toggleable crouch/sprint, and other options.
