Radiangames has revealed Speed Demons 2, a side-scrolling highway racer reminiscent of the classic Burnout series, boasting a similar visual style and high-octane gameplay. Initially a mobile title, this sequel is currently in development for PC and slated for release later this year.
The developers highlight a unique control scheme: "Controls focus on movement, not steering. You'll use gas, brake, and turbo buttons, but vertical movement (analog stick or mouse) dictates your vehicle's direction." They assure players, "It sounds unconventional, but it's instantly intuitive in gameplay."

Speed Demons 2 offers ten game modes, including the Burnout-inspired Pursuit, Takedown, and Rampage modes, all demanding the destruction of opponent vehicles within a time limit. The "Scratchless" mode echoes Burnout's Burning Lap, challenging players to reach the finish line with minimal vehicle damage.
