Selling Stolen Items in Kingdom Come: Max Profits Revealed

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, pilfering goods offers a tempting shortcut to wealth, but carries risks. Selling stolen items directly is problematic; most merchants refuse such transactions, and possession of stolen goods can lead to arrest. Here's how to navigate this tricky situation:

The Patient Approach: The simplest method is to store stolen items in a chest. After approximately one to two in-game weeks, the "stolen" marker disappears, allowing you to sell them to any merchant NPC without issue. The time required varies depending on the item's value; more expensive items take longer.

Perk Up Your Game: Investing in the "Hustler" and "Partner in Crime" perks (found under the Speech skill tree) eliminates the need to wait. These perks allow the immediate sale of stolen goods.

The Fence Option: Early in the game, a fence can be found in the Nomads' Camp, providing an alternative outlet for stolen items.

Avoiding Trouble: Remember, if a guard searches your inventory and finds stolen goods, you risk arrest unless you can bribe your way out. Storing items until the "stolen" tag vanishes is the safest approach.
