Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S25 Edge at its May Unpacked event, introducing its latest flagship smartphone. While the Galaxy S25 Edge shares many similarities with the earlier-released Galaxy S25 from 2025, its standout feature is a sleek, thinner design that gives it a distinctive edge.
In terms of specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge closely resembles the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. Both devices are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and boast a high-resolution 200MP camera. The primary difference lies in the chassis, which has been refined to an impressive 5.8mm thickness, down from the 8.2mm of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. This slim design not only enhances the phone's aesthetics but also reduces its weight to a mere 163g.
Despite the thinner profile, the Galaxy S25 Edge retains the same 6.7-inch AMOLED 2X display as the standard Galaxy S25, which is nearly identical to the 6.9-inch display on the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Samsung addresses this by incorporating the new Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, touted as more durable than the Gorilla Glass Armor 2 used in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset facilitates robust local AI processing, enhancing privacy by minimizing reliance on cloud services. Nevertheless, many AI applications still require cloud connectivity. Samsung's innovative features include quick summaries of notifications and news articles, adding convenience for users.
Preorders for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge are now open, with pricing starting at $1,099 for the 256GB model and $1,219 for the 512GB model. The phone is available in three chic color options: Titanium Silver, Titanium Jet Black, and Titanium Icyblue.
