The wait is finally over for fans of *Reverse: 1999* as the much-anticipated Hong Kong cinema-inspired update, "Showdown in Chinatown," for version 2.5 part one, is now live. This exciting update introduces a new limited character, Liang Yue, and a five-star character, Loggerhead, along with a host of new events, a garment series, and other thrilling additions.
In "Showdown in Chinatown," the notorious arcanist criminal Nightpiercer resurfaces in Los Angeles, prompting the Vigiles Bureau to assign Officer Liang Yue to collaborate with the Division of Arcane Affairs to thwart Nightpiercer's plans once and for all.
Liang Yue will be available through the limited-time "Moonbeam Guardian" Dushuo Limited Banner. Additionally, all players can enjoy a free garment for the beloved character, Windsong. With a total of 40x free pulls available through various rewards and events, you'll have ample opportunities to add these top-tier characters to your roster.
Two new challenges await you: "When the Alarm Sounds" and the board game-themed "Critter Crash," both available until the 29th. These challenges offer special rewards, including Limited Portraits and a new garment.
The traditional Chinese-style dress that Liang Yue sports is inspiring a new garment series called "Old Stories New Perspectives," available for characters like Jiu Niangzi, Tuesday, Sotheby, The Fool, and Windsong.
Don't miss out on the new limited building where you can collect Red Envelopes through tasks and minigames. These can be exchanged for a variety of rewards, including 5-star insight coupons, portraits, and growth materials.
