Puella Magi Madoka Magica Magia Exedra is preparing to launch a fresh update. Aniplex is introducing a limited-time event quest titled Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Scene 0 Part I—the first chapter of a three-part storyline that will eventually tie into the game’s main narrative.
For now, it’s a standalone event featuring a new character, fresh mechanics, and expanded lore for players. The event begins on May 30th, so make sure you’ve completed the main quest if you haven’t already!
Puella Magi Madoka Magica Scene 0 Part I Is a Celebration
Scene 0 was crafted to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Puella Magi Madoka Magica and originally debuted in Magia Record. It follows Mabayu Aki, a middle school student from Mitakihara, who wakes up to find time has frozen for everyone—but not for her.
This strange phenomenon pulls her into a world of magical oddities, leading to a fateful encounter with a certain magical girl.
You’ll be able to experience Scene 0 from May 30th through June 30th. It will later be integrated into the main quest. To unlock it, you must first defeat The Fourth Window Into Memory [Dessert Witch] boss in the main storyline.
During the event, collect medals to exchange for exclusive rewards, including the portrait Granting Impossible Miracles and Magica Stones. This portrait will also become available in the Archive Medal Exchange after the event ends.
There’s a Lot More Going Down
On May 30th, the new 5-star Kioku, Hollow Woman Mabayu Aki, joins the Fate Weave. The banner runs through the end of June. Performing 10 consecutive pulls guarantees at least one 4-star or higher Kioku.
Additionally, the main quest is receiving a major upgrade. Starting May 30th, Chaos mode launches—featuring intense boss battles against witches and rumors, each with unique challenge missions. To unlock Chaos mode, you must first defeat the Nightmare version of Window Into Memory [Needle Witch] boss from the Oriko☆Magica questline.
