If you're a Pokémon GO trainer gearing up for the journey to GO Fest 2025, there’s plenty to look forward to. The game is introducing three brand-new themed events, along with the return of legendary giants and some exciting Gigantamax Pokémon.
The first event on the schedule is Serene Retreat, running from May 30th to June 3rd, 2025. Expect to encounter Pokémon such as Chansey, Marill, Furfrou, Cutiefly, Morelull, Komala, and Hatenna. Keep an eye out for a shiny Snorlax or Chimecho as well. During this event, Gigantamax Rillaboom will make its debut in six-star Max Battles from May 31st to June 1st.
Then comes Ancients Recovered, taking place from June 23rd to June 27th, 2025. This event brings back the Legendary Titans and their elemental counterparts. Each day highlights a different five-star raid boss, accompanied by a special Raid Hour from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. local time. On June 23rd, Regirock, Regice, and Registeel will appear; June 24th welcomes Regieleki; June 25th features Regidrago; June 26th introduces Regigigas; and on June 27th, all the Legendary Titans return for a grand finale.
Trainers catching these Legendary Pokémon during the event will receive exclusive moves. For instance, Regirock learns Earthquake, Regice gets Thunder, Registeel knows Zap Cannon, and Regieleki gains Thunder Cage. Regidrago will have access to Dragon Breath and Dragon Energy, while Regigigas comes equipped with Crush Grip. Additionally, six-star Max Battles during Ancients Recovered will showcase Gigantamax Rillaboom, Cinderace, and Inteleon.
Wrapping up the festivities is Pokémon GO Fest 2025 Global, happening on June 28th and 29th. This worldwide event is free to join from anywhere, offering a massive celebration for millions of trainers. A ticket grants access to exclusive bonuses, including an encounter with the Mythical Pokémon Volcanion, marking its global debut after appearances in Osaka, Jersey City, and Paris.
