Pokemon TCG Pocket’s Upcoming Trade Feature
On January 17, 2025, Pokémon TCG Pocket announced details about its much-anticipated trade feature. Trades can only be conducted between friends and must involve cards of the same rarity. Cards ranging from 1-4 diamonds and 1-star rarity are eligible for trading, but highly sought-after cards like Special Illustration Rare, Immersive, and Crown Rares are excluded. An item must be consumed to facilitate each trade, similar to the Stardust system in Pokémon GO.

They emphasized their commitment to monitoring player feedback to enhance the trade feature while balancing the collecting experience.
In the same announcement, the team teased the upcoming release of a new booster pack this January, though the exact date remains undisclosed.
