Pokémon Sleep players have a treat! As of December 3rd, Sneasel and Weavile are available to befriend. Here's how to add these icy, dark-type Pokémon to your team.

Where to Find Sneasel and Weavile

As you might expect given their dual Ice/Dark typing in the main series games, Sneasel and Weavile appear in Snowdrop Tundra in Pokémon Sleep. However, in this game, they are categorized solely as Dark-type Pokémon.

Conveniently, they also appear on Greengrass Isle, making them accessible to all players, regardless of their research island progress. The EZ Travel Ticket allows you to switch islands if needed.

Sleep Types

Both Sneasel and Weavile are Dozing-type Pokémon. This means they are more likely to appear on Snowdrop Tundra or Greengrass Isle if you achieve a Dozing sleep type for the night. Sneasel is easier to find initially; evolving it into Weavile requires 80 Sneasel Candy and a Razor Claw.

Are They Worth It?

Sneasel's value lies primarily in its berry-gathering capabilities (Wiki Berries) and its contribution to "Extra Tasty" dishes. Its ingredient requirements include sought-after items, making a well-equipped Sneasel a valuable asset for your Snowdrop Tundra team.
