Today is Earth Day, and Pikmin Bloom has introduced a unique way to celebrate through the Party Walk event. This time, it's not about taking extra steps but about planting more flowers. If you're a fan of Niantic's augmented reality, location-based game, you won't want to miss out on this new event.
When Is the Pikmin Bloom Party Walk?
Pikmin Bloom is hosting a special Earth Day-themed Official Party Walk from April 22nd to April 30th. Instead of focusing on your steps, you'll be tracking the number of flowers you plant, with every bloom contributing to a global total.
During this event, actively planting flowers is essential to contribute to the cause. It's a perfect fit for Earth Day, promoting more greenery and purpose. Pikmin Bloom is making this effort rewarding in a fun way, too.
Depending on the total number of flowers planted collectively during the event, players can unlock special weather-themed Decor Pikmin through Huge Seedlings. Here's what you can achieve: if the community plants 500 million flowers, everyone participating in the event will receive a Huge Seedling that grows into a Leaf Hat Decor Pikmin. If the total reaches 1 billion flowers, you'll unlock a Snow Decor Pikmin.
But if players manage to plant 1.5 billion flowers, you'll earn a Huge Seedling for a Present Sticker (Gold) Decor Pikmin, specifically for White Pikmin.
But Keep This in Mind
Remember, your flowers won't count towards the total unless you officially join the Pikmin Bloom Party Walk. Ensure you've updated to app version 117 and signed up correctly. If you haven't yet, you can download the game from the Google Play Store.
To help you with your flower planting mission, everyone participating will receive a promo code. All types of flowers count towards the goal, so don't worry about planting any specific kind. Just get out there and start blooming.
