In a significant move to broaden its global reach, Persona 5: The Phantom X (P5X) has launched a dedicated social media account for its upcoming English version. The account's inaugural post on May 15 hinted at a major announcement during a livestream scheduled for the same day at 7:00 AM PT on Atlus' official western YouTube channel. This event promises to shed light on the much-anticipated release date for the English version.

The livestream will feature an exciting lineup of guests, including voice actors from the game's cast, such as Kaede Hondo, who voices Motoha Arai, and Chika Anzai, the voice of Yui. They will be joined by key figures from the development team, including P5X Chief Producer Yohsuke Uda, Development Director Yusuke Nitta from ATLUS, Development Producer Jun Matsunaga, and Live Ops Director Yuta Sakai from SEGA.
Originally released in select regions in April 2024, P5X has been the subject of much speculation regarding its Western release. Sega Sammy Holdings, the Japanese global holding company and conglomerate, included P5X in their Fiscal Year 2025 Results Presentation on May 12, noting that the game is slated for release "In or after FY2026/3" (April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026), with a target launch this summer.
