Persona 5: The Phantom X is set to launch worldwide, with Android pre-registration now open. The global release is confirmed for June 26, 2025, the same date previously announced for the Japanese launch.
The title first launched in China a year ago, followed by releases in Taiwan, South Korea, Macau, and Hong Kong across Android, iOS, and PC. SEGA and Atlus are now bringing the experience to a global audience.
Developed by Black Wing Game Studio with guidance from former Persona 5 developers, Phantom X is a free-to-play title. As expected, it incorporates a gacha system for summoning new characters to your party.

Phantom X introduces a brand-new protagonist and an original crew of Phantom Thieves. They explore a stylized rendition of modern Tokyo, uncovering new Palaces and Mementos.
The gameplay retains the series' signature blend of social simulation and dungeon crawling. It features classic turn-based combat and the dual-life rhythm. New additions include a guild system, a PvE mode called Velvet Trials, and appearances from some familiar Persona 5 characters.
The story begins with the protagonist awakening from a disturbing nightmare into a distorted reality. Players are guided by a talking owl named Lefaye and will encounter the enigmatic residents of the Velvet Room, including the long-nosed man and his attendants.
