Pedro Pascal Calls JK Rowling a 'Heinous Loser' for Anti-Trans Rhetoric

Pedro Pascal, renowned for his roles in The Last of Us, The Mandalorian, and The Fantastic Four: First Steps, has publicly criticized JK Rowling for her stance against the transgender community. This response came after Rowling celebrated a UK Supreme Court ruling that legally defines "woman" as "a biological woman and biological sex," thereby excluding transgender women from protections under the Equality Act. Rowling's celebratory social media post, which included a photo of her smoking a cigar and drinking by the ocean with the caption, "I love it when a plan comes together," referenced her support for the organization For Scotland Women that initiated the lawsuit.

Pascal's comments were made in response to a video by writer and activist Tariq Raouf, who condemned Rowling's actions as "serious Voldemort villain sht." Pascal echoed this sentiment, calling Rowling's behavior "awful disgusting SHT" and "heinous LOSER behavior."

This is not the first instance of Pascal advocating for transgender rights. He previously expressed his views with a strong statement, "I can’t think of anything more vile and small and pathetic than terrorizing the smallest, most vulnerable community of people who want nothing from you, except the right to exist," accompanied by a photo of a sign that read, "A world without trans people has never existed and never will." Additionally, Pascal showed his support by wearing a shirt that read "Protect the dolls" at the premiere of Thunderbolts in London, a term used within the LGBTQIA+ community to refer to trans women.

Pascal's support extends to his personal life as well; his sister, Lux Pascal, publicly came out as a trans woman in 2021. Pedro Pascal celebrated her announcement by posting, "Mi hermana, mi corazón, nuestra Lux," which translates to "My sister, my heart, our Lux."
