Nintendo confirms U.S. pre-orders for Switch 2 will commence on April 24, 2025, maintaining the original $449.99 pricing and June 5 launch date announced earlier.
The company noted on its official website that Switch 2 accessories will see "adjusted pricing from initial April 2 announcements due to current market conditions." Nintendo also cautioned that "future pricing adjustments may occur for any product based on market fluctuations."
The Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle retains its $499.99 price point, while standalone game pricing remains unchanged for both physical and digital versions of Mario Kart World ($79.99) and Donkey Kong Bananza ($69.99).

The company initially scheduled pre-orders to begin April 9 but postponed them to "evaluate potential tariff impacts and shifting market conditions."
