Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders will officially begin on April 2 from Best Buy Canada, according to the retailer's recent blog post. The comprehensive guide states: "Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders will open on April 2nd exclusively at Best Buy Canada."

While Best Buy Canada has confirmed its launch date, it remains unclear whether other major retailers will simultaneously open pre-orders. The U.S. version of Best Buy's Switch 2 page currently lacks pre-order details but allows customers to sign up for notifications.

Nintendo Switch 2 - First Look

Nintendo initially revealed its next-generation console earlier this year with a teaser trailer that confirmed the hardware alongside a new Mario Kart title. The announcement concluded with confirmation of an April 2 Nintendo Direct presentation.

During today's March 27 Nintendo Direct at 10am EST, the company showcased over 30 minutes of upcoming Switch titles. Nintendo also introduced the "Nintendo Today" mobile app to deliver Switch 2 news directly to users following the April presentation.
