NetEase has announced the end of service (EOS) for their horror action game, *Dead by Daylight Mobile*. Yes, the game is officially heading for the grave! Puns aside, after 4 years since its worldwide release on Android in April 2020, the game is shutting down. If you never played it, *Dead by Daylight Mobile* is a thrilling 4v1 horror-survival game, a mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive’s hit, *Dead by Daylight*. While the original was first released for PC in June 2016, the mobile version followed in April 2020. Rest assured, the PC and console versions will continue to run smoothly.
In *Dead by Daylight Mobile*, you can immerse yourself in a deadly game of hide and seek, playing either as a Killer or a Survivor. As a Killer, your mission is to sacrifice Survivors to The Entity. As a Survivor, your goal is to stay safe and avoid being caught by the Killer.
When is the Dead by Daylight Mobile EOS?
The Dead by Daylight Mobile EOS is scheduled for March 20th, 2025. Until January 16th, 2025, the game will remain available for download on app stores. After that date, new downloads will no longer be possible. If you already have the game installed, you can continue playing until the shutdown on March 20th, 2025. Regarding refunds, NetEase is handling them according to each region’s laws, with more detailed information to be released on January 16th, 2025.
If you wish to continue enjoying the *Dead by Daylight* experience, you can switch to the PC or console version. A special Welcome Package awaits those who make the transition. Additionally, if you’ve spent money or earned XP in the mobile game, you’ll receive loyalty rewards upon switching.
