After a two-year early access period on PC, Mutants: Genesis has officially launched. It is now available on Android, iOS, and Steam. Developed by Celsius Online, this is an online card game where the cards literally come to life.
What Is Mutants: Genesis?
Step into a futuristic world dominated by corporations and combat leagues in Mutants: Genesis. You'll build decks and summon mutants, which transform into animated creatures that battle in holographic arenas.
You play as a Psycog, a strategist commanding genetically modified mutants in swift battles. As the new leader of Team Panakeia, you'll travel the globe to compete in the Xtrem Mutants Junior League.
Along the way, you'll encounter new Champions and unlock fresh cards, strategies, and gene-based powers. So, while it's a card game, the focus is on adaptation, planning, and evolving your tactics with every move.
Mutants: Genesis features over 200 cards, spanning six distinct gene types. The Tech gene focuses on machinery and precision, granting mutants abilities like Self-Repair and Dual Core for quick, resilient strikes.
In contrast, the Necro gene embraces a darker theme, wielding death as a weapon. Its cards can return stronger after defeat and utilize unique resources like Bones to empower your forces.
The Blades gene rewards sharp tactical play, using Orbs and conditional powers to shift the battle's momentum. Zoo is pure chaos, with mutants that swarm the field, evolve rapidly, and unleash surprises as they rank up.
Space introduces a militaristic style, emphasizing squad unity and fortress-like defenses. Finally, Mystic lets magic rule the battlefield, wielding powers like Burn and Stasis to control the pace while summoning mythical creatures.
