Monster Hunter Now Tests New Monster Outbreaks Feature

Monster Hunter Now is buzzing with excitement as Niantic introduces a new testing feature called Monster Outbreaks. This innovative addition aims to gather player feedback to fine-tune the feature before its official launch. Let's dive into the details of this thrilling new event.

When Is the Monster Outbreaks Testing in Monster Hunter Now?

The testing phase for Monster Outbreaks is scheduled from April 26th to 27th, running for a couple of hours each day. You can participate in the event twice daily on both Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 to 10:59 a.m. and from 3:00 to 3:59 p.m., local time.

During the event, specific outbreak points on the map will swarm with 8-star Black Diablos. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to team up with other players and take down 100 of these formidable creatures at each outbreak spot within the one-hour window. Remember, the goal is 100 per location, not globally.

To participate, you must be at least Hunter Rank (HR) 11. Note that you can't use the party feature; only in-person group hunts will count toward your goal. Outbreak points are clearly marked on the map with a special icon, and you can tap on them to view details. There's also a sign-up roster at each spot, allowing you to coordinate your hunting times with others.

Black Diablos Is Rolling Up with Serious Boss Energy, in Swarm Mode!

The concept of counting slays is fascinating. If you and three other hunters take down a single Black Diablos, it counts as four toward the 100-monster goal. If your group hits the 100 mark before the hour is up, you can continue hunting Black Diablos for the remainder of the time.

Rewards await those who successfully meet the challenge. If your group reaches the 100-monster goal, you'll receive 3 Black Diablos Tailcases, 3 Ridges, 3 Primeshells, 3 Marrows, and 2,000 Zenny. Additionally, using the sign-up roster earns you a special Outbreak Test I Medal.

Are you excited to join the fray? Download Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and participate in the Monster Outbreaks testing over the weekend. Don't miss out on this thrilling opportunity to team up and tackle the mighty Black Diablos!
