Mecha BREAK May Unlock All Starting Mechs Following Player Feedback

The multiplayer mech game, Mecha BREAK, concluded its open beta test on Steam on March 16 and garnered significant player feedback. With a peak of over 300,000 players during the open beta, the game has now secured the position of the 5th most wishlisted game on Steam.

Chinese developer Amazing Seasun is actively considering several changes, including making all Break Strikers (Mechs) available from the start and adjusting the usage of mech modules in 3v3 and 6v6 competitive modes. While no final decisions have been made, the company believes that adopting a live service model at launch is crucial for the game's long-term success.

Initially, players could only start with one Break Striker, requiring them to earn in-game currency through multiple multiplayer matches to unlock the remaining 11 Break Strikers. This grind could take a considerable amount of time, leading to feedback from the community about accessibility.
