Although a real collaboration between the heroes of Nintendo and Sega seems improbable due to their longstanding rivalry, the concept of uniting these beloved characters has struck a chord with fans.
While fans await an official crossover, they can look forward to sequels in both franchises. "Super Mario Brothers at the Movies 2" is slated for release in 2026, followed by "Sonic 4 at the Movies" in 2027.
