Pine Hearts Arrives on Mobile from A Little to the Left Devs

Pine Hearts makes its mobile debut today. Originally developed by Hyper Luminal Games for PC and Switch, the mobile version is published by Secret Mode, the team behind A Little to the Left. This heartwarming hiking adventure draws inspiration from the stunning landscapes of the Scottish Highlands.

Journeys steeped in nostalgia, healing from loss, and lending a helping hand…

The game offers a cozy and introspective story centered on Tyke, who returns to the Pine Hearts Caravan Park—a place filled with memories of his childhood vacations. Set in an area inspired by the Cairngorms, you will wander along forest trails, discover hidden caves, and explore ancient castle ruins.

There are moments of simple joy, from splashing through rock pools to relaxing on the beach. As Tyke processes the loss of his father, he sets out to climb the mountain his dad never conquered.

Quests are charming and whimsical—you might judge a vegetable contest, lead a brass band, rescue lost bees, or assist a friendly ghost. Other missions involve rebuilding a whale-watching boat, setting camera traps to uncover a legendary creature, and digging up Viking artifacts.

You can take time to pet dogs, gently tap crabs on the shore, or sit on benches to soak in the tranquil views. As you progress, new skills unlock shortcuts and previously inaccessible areas across the map.

The story unfolds through five brief but powerful memory clips, offering glimpses into Tyke’s emotional journey. Get a taste of the enchanting world of Pine Hearts in the video below.

True to its name, Pine Hearts radiates warmth and compassion

To celebrate the launch, Secret Mode is giving away Pine Hearts merchandise, including a T-shirt, a beanie, and a mug. For entry details, visit the official Pine Hearts X account.

The game features a wide range of accessibility settings, such as simplified controls, visual effect toggles, scalable fonts, high-contrast and color-block modes, and customizable input mapping.

A free trial lets you explore Reflection Point and the Campsite for roughly 20–25 minutes. Unlock the full experience with a one-time purchase of $4.99. Download it now from the Google Play Store.
