How to Solve All Password and Padlock Combinations in Lost Records: Bloom and Rage
Currently, there are three lock-related puzzles in Lost Records: Bloom and Rage, covering Tape 1. Once additional puzzles are released in Tape 2 (scheduled for April 2025), this guide will be updated accordingly.
If you missed solving a padlock puzzle early in Tape 1, don’t worry—you can always revisit it via the Scene Selection menu. Additionally, the Collectible Mode ensures you can catch up without disrupting your story progression.

The game’s first padlock combination puzzle appears in Scene 10 of Tape 1, titled 'Lights, Camera, Action!'. After navigating the Forest Girls Memoir in the initial area, proceed through the park by slipping between two massive boulders.
Swann and her friends will soon approach a wire fence marking Kat’s family property. Here, you’ll spot several “love locks” adorning the fence. One belongs to Corey and Dylan. To unlock their padlock as a playful act of revenge, you’ll need the correct four-digit combination. Interestingly, the clue to this code doesn’t appear until Scene 24, near the end of Tape 1.
To solve the puzzle, search Corey’s Bag on his parked bike. Inside, you’ll find a Polaroid photo. Inspect it closely, and you’ll notice a caption indicating Corey and Dylan’s anniversary date: August 27, 1994. Enter this date (0827) into the padlock at the fence to unlock it and earn the hidden ‘Heartbreak’ achievement/trophy.

The game’s second padlock puzzle awaits in Scene 13 of Tape 1, titled ‘Cabin in the Woods.’ As the girls explore a mysterious cabin deep in the forest after dark, Swann discovers a way inside. However, to continue the story, you must solve the padlock securing the front door.
Start by examining the Old Sheet hanging on the wooden beam behind you. This reveals visual hints for the padlock’s four dials. The first dial is already solved for you, leaving three symbols to decipher.
Following the sheet’s clues:
For the second symbol, head to the cabin’s kitchen and locate the rope handle for the trapdoor. Pull it open, ascend into the attic, and face the trapdoor. On the far wall, you’ll see a crescent moon symbol.
For the third symbol, return to the kitchen and inspect the can furthest to the left on the stove (covered in spiderwebs). Flip it over to reveal a leaf symbol on its bottom.
For the fourth and final symbol, examine the bear trap hanging on the back wall. When triggered, it exposes a star symbol etched on the wood behind it.
With all the symbols identified, return to the front door and input them into the padlock. This unlocks the cabin and allows Swann and her friends to explore further, progressing the story.

The final padlock puzzle emerges in Scene 24 of Tape 1, titled ‘Riot Grrrls.’ As the girls prepare for their impromptu concert at Blue Spruce Bar, they need access to the employee area to retrieve essential items like the Extension Cord, Power Outlet, and Breaker Panel. To do so, they must unlock the padlock on the gate.
To solve this puzzle, head to Corey’s bike in the parking lot and open the bag attached to it. Inside, you’ll find a Pager. Examine it closely to uncover a slip of paper wedged under the clip. Flip the paper over to reveal a sequence of cardinal directions (e.g., North, South, East, West). This sequence is your solution.
Return to the gate and input the sequence into the padlock. Doing so grants access to the employee area, allowing you to complete the scene and move forward in the story.
