Alphadia III is officially available today for Android users worldwide, marking the third installment in the renowned Alphadia series. Published by KEMCO and crafted by EXE CREATE, this title made its debut in Japan last October.
Unfolding the Story in Alphadia III
Set in Alphadian Year 970, players are thrust into the closing chapters of the Energi War—a colossal conflict fueled by the enigmatic life force known as energi. Divided between three major factions—the Schwarzschild Empire to the north, the Nordsheim Kingdom in the west, and the Luminea Alliance in the east—the world teeters on the brink of collapse.
Amidst the chaos, a clone soldier named Alfonso emerges as a pivotal figure. His journey begins when a girl named Tarte arrives with devastating news: a fellow clone has met their demise. This revelation sets Alfonso on a transformative path.
Exploring the Gameplay Mechanics
Alphadia III retains the beloved turn-based combat system, presented in a classic side-view with pixel-art aesthetics. Players can harness SP Skills, which build up during battles and can shift the tide of battle when deployed strategically.
Arrays introduce dynamic battle formations that unlock progressively, offering tailored approaches to various encounters. Additionally, the innovative Energi Crock allows players to deposit items while traveling, generating Energi Elements over time. These elements can then be exchanged for valuable gear and rewards at specialized shops.
Throughout the game, players will encounter factions such as Deval, a peacekeeping alliance, and elite military units like Rosenkreutz from Nordsheim. Energized clone models also play a crucial role, with Nordsheim fielding the Berger Series and Schwarzschild deploying the Delta Series.
Beyond the gripping narrative, Alphadia III offers extensive side content and is optimized for controllers. The game is priced at $7.99 on the Google Play Store. A freemium version with ads is also available on Android.
