Following weeks of anticipation and player inquiries, the development team behind Infinity Nikki has finally addressed the concerns surrounding the controversial Version 1.5 launch. Many players felt that the update lacked polish and was prematurely rolled out, leading to widespread dissatisfaction. In response, the developers acknowledged that they were unprepared for the challenges associated with the release and have since decided to push back the highly anticipated Version 1.6.
When Will Version 1.6 Release?
Initially scheduled for June 4th, Version 1.6 has now been postponed until June 12th. During this interim period, several ongoing events will remain active, including Chase the Bubbles, Rainbow Album, and Where Are the Gifties?. Additionally, stores such as Pear-Pal Selected/Store: Clothing, Heartfelt Gifts, and the Shake Up Bubble Jar! top-up event will stay open until the update rolls out. Weekly activities like Starlit Pursuit, which was initially planned for May 20th, will also be moved to Version 1.6.
In light of these changes, the development team has issued an apology, emphasizing their efforts to address performance issues across various platforms, including PS. They assured players that previously omitted storylines, such as Threads of Reunion, remain intact and will be included in future updates.
Beyond the Version 1.6 Delay
Recently, the game has faced numerous technical problems, ranging from bugs to broken quests and co-op malfunctions. To mitigate these issues, the developers are offering compensation in the form of 120 Diamonds and 1 Crystal per day from June 5th to June 12th. Players must log in daily to claim this reward.
Some users view this gesture as an attempt to revive player engagement following the missteps during Version 1.5. However, others expressed disappointment, noting that promotional content for new outfits appeared almost immediately after the apology was posted.
