Team Cherry finally announced the September 4, 2025 release date for Hollow Knight: Silksong at gamescom. The news arrived alongside a nearly two-minute trailer showcasing plenty of new gameplay. We get a glimpse of Hornet's exploration, numerous new insectoid characters, haunting graveyards, murky swamps, a lively city, fresh enemies and bosses, an escape sequence reminiscent of Ori, and much more.
