In *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, stealth is a crucial method for completing certain quests, notably the "Storm" quest. This quest is particularly demanding as it necessitates a stealthy approach due to the challenging circumstances you find yourself in.
How To Start ‘Storm’ in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
The "Storm" quest marks a pivotal transition from the Trosky Region to the Kuttenberg Region, wrapping up the main storylines in Trosky. You begin this quest under duress, similar to "For Whom the Bell Tolls," without your armor, weapons, or essentials like Saviour Schnapps. Moreover, your health is compromised due to recent torture, which also affects your stamina.

To kick off the quest, you can salvage gear from the guards that Katherine neutralized during your prison break. While the gear isn't top-notch, it's a step up from nothing. Katherine also provides you with her dagger, which is essential for executing stealth kills. Your next move is to ascend to the top of the Crone in Trosky. Although guards patrol the area, they are spaced out enough that you can either knock them out or use distractions to slip past them undetected.

Upon reaching the summit, you confront Istvan Toth. This encounter doesn't affect the quest's ultimate outcome, so opting for a less honorable approach might be wise, especially if you're not confident in your combat skills given your weakened state. After dealing with Toth, thoroughly search the room to reclaim everyone's belongings and secure vital documents.
How To Escape Trosky in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
After managing Toth and retrieving your gear, head back to the dungeon to meet up with your companions. They will equip their gear, and together, you'll use the tunnels to make your escape. This part of the quest is straightforward as you simply follow your allies to safety.

How To Sneak Through the Hills in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
The hills present the most challenging part of "Storm." Your goal is to minimize your conspicuousness to avoid detection by the patrolling guards, who will alert others if they spot you. Your lowered stats due to torture make stealth attacks more difficult, but with careful planning, it's manageable.

Begin by taking the right path and follow it as it ascends. This leads to a larger, more guarded path, but it's essential for reaching Mika, who has been captured. Sneak up behind the guard, neutralize him, and liberate Mika. This not only saves your progress but also provides you with Mika's guidance for the next phase of your journey.

The final leg of "Storm" requires a prolonged period of stealth. Follow the locations marked on your map as per Mika's instructions. Your destination is the edge of the region, heading east and southeast to reach the main road in Apollonia, then southward. Stay on the fringes and use the bushes to remain hidden from the guards. You only need to traverse about halfway through the marked area to trigger the concluding cutscene. Use stones to distract guards if necessary to ensure a smooth escape. Once the cutscene plays, your role in Trosky ends, and you're set to move on to the Kuttenberg Region.
"Storm" is one of the few quests in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* where stealth is not just an option but a necessity. Prioritizing stealth skills and perks before tackling this quest can significantly ease your journey.
