In *Fortnite* Chapter 6, Season 1, players can now interact with Sprites, mystical entities that enhance gameplay with new items or abilities. Among these, the Earth Sprite stands out as the most beneficial yet elusive. Here's a detailed guide on how to locate and give weapons to the Earth Sprite in *Fortnite*.
Fortnite Earth Sprite Spawns, Explained
*Fortnite*'s Battle Royale now includes multiple modes such as Battle Royale, OG, and Reload. However, the Earth Sprite is exclusive to the new map introduced in Chapter 6 for the main Battle Royale mode, as well as its Zero Build and Ranked variants.
The Earth Sprite can spawn at nearly two dozen different locations, each marked by a distinctive, solitary lantern, similar to the one shown above north of Burd. Only two Earth Sprites appear per match, making it challenging to find one. You may need to visit several of these potential locations to encounter an Earth Sprite within a single match.

How To Give Weapons to the Earth Sprite in Fortnite
Locating an Earth Sprite is the most challenging aspect of this task. Once you've found one, simply press and hold the interact button while facing the Earth Sprite. This action will transfer your current weapon to the Earth Sprite, fulfilling the Week 1 Quest and earning you 25,000 XP.
Be aware that the weapon you are holding when you interact with the Earth Sprite will be lost. However, in exchange, you'll receive a random Legendary rarity weapon. While the process might be tedious, the potential to gain such a high-tier weapon can significantly boost your performance in *Fortnite*.
