Following a much-discussed delay, Rockstar Games released the second trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI on May 6, showcasing the revamped Vice City and its residents. The trailer and official website delve into the lives of the game’s protagonists, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, providing fans with a deeper understanding of their backgrounds and motivations.
The storyline, as described on the official site, follows Jason and Lucia as they navigate the challenges of Vice City: "Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive."
Jason, a former soldier haunted by his past, now works for local drug runners in Leonida Keys. His meeting with Lucia could be the turning point he needs. Lucia, toughened by a rough upbringing and a stint in Leonida Penitentiary, is determined to make smarter choices to provide a better life for her mother. Fresh out of prison, her alliance with Jason might be her ticket to a new life.

Jason's friend Cal Hampton, a conspiracy theorist, brings a unique perspective to the story with his internet-fueled beliefs.
