In Freedom Wars Remastered, during Operations, you have the flexibility to bring along three comrades, as well as your Accessory and their accessories. While you can't directly manage the gear of your comrades and can only enhance their overall equipment levels, your Accessory offers more control and customization options.
You can issue unique commands to your Accessory, tailoring their actions to suit your combat strategy. This section will guide you through the various ways to customize your Accessory and select the most effective commands for them.
How To Customize Your Accessory In Freedom Wars Remastered
Customizing your Accessory is straightforward and can be done through the Loadout menu, similar to how you manage your own gear. Below your character's loadout, you'll find the Accessory option, which opens up a menu where you can equip your Accessory with any weapon and Modules you possess that are compatible with that weapon.
A key difference from players is that Accessories don't need ammo for gun weapons, giving them an edge in sustained combat. Additionally, you can outfit your Accessory with a single combat item of your choice, which they will use autonomously. Unlike your comrades, Accessories can only carry one weapon and one combat item, but their real strength lies in the specialized commands you can assign to them.
Accessory Orders
The customization of your Accessory's orders is managed through the Loadout menu. Here, you can select and customize sets of Orders by interacting with your Accessory in your cell. The "Customize Accessory" option, fifth from the top, allows you to tailor any available commands into a set. To expand the number of orders within a set, you can purchase the "Right To Assign Orders Entitlements" from the Window of Liberty Interface Entitlements under the Accessory section. Once set, you choose which Order Set your Accessory will use during Operations, and this cannot be changed mid-operation. The available commands include:

These commands can be issued at any time during an operation by pressing up on the D-pad or the 'C' key on PC. This allows your Accessory to perform specific tasks distinct from the broader objectives your comrades are handling.
