Author : Zoe May 19,2025

Elliot Page, through his production company Pageboy Productions, is set to reimagine the PlayStation and Quantic Dream's story-driven adventure game, *Beyond: Two Souls*, as a television series. According to Deadline, Pageboy Productions has secured the rights from Quantic Dream to bring this project to life. Currently in the early stages of development, the series aims to preserve the game’s unique non-linear narrative. While specifics such as casting and release dates remain under wraps, the anticipation for this adaptation is already building.

Reflecting on his experience, Page described filming *Beyond: Two Souls* as "one of the most challenging and fulfilling acting experiences" of his career. He emphasized the game's "rich narrative and emotional depth" as a solid foundation for the TV series, aiming to create a fresh yet resonant portrayal of the characters and their journeys for both fans and new audiences.

Matt Jordan Smitt, head of development and production at Pageboy, shared insights into the team's approach, stating their intent to "honor the game’s legacy while inviting fresh perspectives." He highlighted the importance of exploring themes of survival and the impact of split-second decisions on multiple lives, which are central to the story.

Originally released for the PlayStation 3 in 2013, *Beyond: Two Souls* later became available on PlayStation 4 and PC in 2015 and 2019, respectively. Directed and written by David Cage of Quantic Dream, the game follows Jodie Holmes, a young woman with psychic abilities who communicates with a spirit named Aiden. The game's non-linear storytelling and the involvement of high-profile actors like Page and Willem Dafoe contributed to its acclaim.

David Cage expressed his excitement about collaborating with Page on the TV adaptation, praising Page's performance in the game and his ability to bring passion to the project. Cage noted that *Beyond: Two Souls* holds a special place for millions of players worldwide, and he trusts Page to create a unique television experience.
