The Dadish series has become a frequent favorite behind the scenes at Pocket Gamer Towers. There's good reason for this, as indie developer Thomas K. Young has created a fantastic throwback to platform gaming's golden age. Now, they're taking a different direction with a brand-new main character and a rad new style in Dunkadillo!
It's easy to imagine this unusual blend of platformer and sports simulation emerging from an alternate 1990s universe. Dunkadillo follows the titular armadillo Dill as he attempts to rescue his friend Pickle. How? By transforming into a basketball, of course!
Dill must bounce and ricochet through 50 expansive stages while avoiding all manner of nasty enemies. Along the way, you'll collect rare trading cards to unlock up to 10 additional characters, while five challenging bosses await to block Dill's progress.
Fresh innovation
Naturally, Dunkadillo also includes a suite of additional exciting features. Enjoy a full funky soundtrack, controller support, and the same captivating colorful graphics you might recognize from the Dadish 3D series. The dynamic bouncing gameplay itself offers numerous ways to utilize both Dill's abilities and those of the various other armadillo types you can unlock.
