BuchioGames has launched SNO Snow White, their dimension-shifting action game, on mobile devices. This title stands out with its unusual blend of 2D action and 3D puzzle-solving. The entire project was developed over six years by a solo indie creator.
Snow White is No Princess in This Game!
The game unfolds in a sci-fi setting on a mysterious frozen planet known as Snow White. It's a side-scrolling adventure where you run, jump, evade traps, and confront bizarre enemies.
You take on the role of Global, a former hero from the AI Wars. Your journey to this icy planet to reunite with an old comrade quickly draws you into a much larger conflict.
Now, let's discuss the game's standout feature: the AD Mode, or Another Dimension Mode. The perspective shifts to first-person 3D, allowing you to use physics-based tools to interact with elements invisible in the 2D view.
A key item in SNO Snow White is the AD Ball. By tossing it into unseen spaces, you can pull objects into your reality. This mechanic lets you transform walls into platforms, create new pathways, or activate hidden devices you previously couldn't perceive.
The game features metroidvania-style level design. You'll encounter interconnected areas, secrets in hard-to-reach locations, and mechanics that unlock entirely new regions as you master certain skills. The further you progress, the more conceptually complex the puzzles become.
SNO Snow White Offers Vast Exploration
While exploring abandoned labs, frozen ruins, and decaying technology across the planet, the past begins to resurface. You'll discover old archives, AI logs, and clues suggesting that the events on Snow White were deeply unsettling.
SNO Snow White is now available on the Google Play Store. The game offers the first 2-4 hours for free, with the full version accessible via a single in-app purchase. The complete game provides over 20 hours of main story content with no advertisements or paywalls. Also, keep an eye out for our next article on Haikyu!! Fly High Global.
