How To Beat Yetuga in The First Berserker: Khazan

While this marks your first major boss encounter, don't expect any concessions to difficulty. Having mastered *The First Berserker: Khazan's* multifaceted combat system, you'll need to employ every technique to emerge victorious.
Yetuga proves an aggressive adversary that attacks relentlessly when provoked - precisely the situation players face during Mount Heinmach's climax. Like other formidable beasts you've faced, this boss wields both close-range and distant attacks, including devastating aerial slams.
Your survival depends on mastering evasion and counterattacks. Yetuga's arsenal includes:
- A two-strike combo featuring a downward left-handed smash followed by a right-handed uppercut
- A four-attack sequence with alternating horizontal sweeps
- A dual-fisted overhead smash
- Leaping one-handed strike
- A potentially deadly jumping grab
- Rushing charge attack
With practice, you'll recognize these patterns and find opportunities to counterattack. While the grab requires evasion, properly timed parries against other moves will significantly drain Yetuga's stamina. Its charging attack presents a prime opportunity - when it collides with walls, you gain precious moments for free strikes, potentially shattering the damaging ice spikes on its back.

The second phase activates when Yetuga roars and powers up - immediately create distance. Now wielding a massive boulder, it will attempt crushing strikes requiring precise dodging or parrying. Its new frost breath attack spawns hazardous ice formations; either escape its range or perfectly time a parry.
Strategically use Potent Attacks when openings appear, then capitalize on exhaustion periods with devastating Brutal Attacks. Persistent offense will eventually topple this frozen behemoth.
Upon victory, you'll receive 4,800 Lacrima along with Frozen Mountain equipment and the Necklace of Resolve.
