Prophecy Games’ latest roguelite first-person shooter, Deadzone: Rogue, has ignited a massive fan response since its Early Access launch on Steam. The game has soared past 200,000 wishlists, debuted as a Top 10 Global Seller, and attracted over 100,000 players in its debut week alone. This surge in popularity is no surprise once you witness the game's trailer, which showcases slick visuals and explosive action packed into an adrenaline-pumping minute of pure chaos.
Diving into Deadzone: Rogue, players embark on missions within a derelict spaceship, unraveling a gripping narrative about AI malfunction. The game pits you against relentless hordes of biomechanical enemies, all intent on reducing you to a bloody pulp. Thankfully, you're equipped with an arsenal of over 30 unique weapons, along with a vast selection of items, perks, and augments, ensuring that it's the enemies who end up pulverized.
During Early Access, players can explore Zones 1 and 2, which offer a variety of missions and access to different sectors of the spaceship. These missions are challenging, but in Deadzone: Rogue, death is just another step in your journey. Each failure brings you back stronger, enabling you to discover new and improved loadouts to tackle the diverse enemy types and bosses you'll encounter across multiple runs, either solo or in co-op with teams of up to three players.
The full 1.0 release of Deadzone: Rogue for PC, set to follow the Early Access period, will introduce Zone 3, featuring new enemies, weapons, and gameplay enhancements.
