Dead by Daylight's Terrifying Junji Ito Collection: Eight New Skins
The asymmetrical horror multiplayer game, Dead by Daylight (DbD), is thrilled to announce an exclusive collaboration with renowned Japanese horror manga artist, Junji Ito. This "ultimate horror collaboration" brings eight terrifying new character skins inspired by Ito's iconic works.
A Collection of Nightmares
For 40 years, Junji Ito has captivated audiences worldwide with his unique, macabre storytelling and surrealist art style. Now, his chilling creations come to life in DbD. The collection features skins based on several of Ito's most famous works, including "Tomie," "Hanging Balloons," and "Rumors."
The Killers receiving new skins are The Dredge, The Trickster, The Twins, The Spirit, and The Artist. Significantly, The Spirit and The Artist will boast Legendary rarity skins, complete with updated audio and sound effects. The Spirit will sport a Tomie skin, while The Artist will transform into Miss Fuchi from "Rumors." Survivors Yui Kimura, Yun-Jin Lee, and Kate Denson also receive new Ito-inspired outfits.
Junji Ito himself participated in the creation process. A video on the official Dead by Daylight X account shows his delighted reaction to seeing his characters in the game, commenting on how they became even more terrifying in their new digital form. He even took a turn playing as The Artist, showcasing the Miss Fuchi skin in action.
The Junji Ito Collection will be available starting January 7th, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Prepare for a chillingly unforgettable Dead by Daylight experience.
