Dark and Darker Mobile's eagerly anticipated pre-season #3, titled 'Grappling with the Abyss,' is now live and will run until June 10th. This season brings a host of new content, echoing the trend seen with games like Sonic Rumble, where soft launch players are treated to a plethora of engaging features.
One of the headline additions is the Arena mode, introducing competitive PvP to Dark and Darker Mobile. Players can dive into intense 3v3, best-of-five deathmatches on randomized maps. To participate, you'll need to reach at least level 10 and have a minimum equipment score of 500. Additionally, you can bring along one hired mercenary companion to aid you in battle.
Another major feature is the Shadow Realm, a new PvE mode where players can tackle weekly boss battles against formidable monsters. To summon these bosses, you'll first need to clear waves of lesser beasts, making this mode a true test of skill. Access to the Shadow Realm is unlocked at account level 15.
Beyond these 'evergreen' additions, pre-season #3 includes numerous other enhancements. The Guild Encampment is a new social space where Guild members can interact and socialize. The Soulstone system allows players to equip a monster's soulstone at account level 8, granting new traits. The Stat Tree system introduces persistent progression, alongside an influx of new loot, monsters, gear, and quality-of-life upgrades.
