If *Arise Crossover* seems like a simple game at first glance, with its mechanics of acquiring Shadow units to attack non-combative enemies and strengthen your roster, you might be surprised at the depth and complexity that unfolds as you progress. Many players, even those who reach the endgame, often find themselves puzzled about how to advance, where to level up, and which Shadows to use. If you're feeling stuck, this comprehensive guide is designed to help you navigate through the intricacies of *Arise Crossover*.
How Shadows Work in Arise Crossover

In *Arise Crossover*, each of the three islands features several recruitable Shadows and a powerful dungeon Shadow. The weakest unit currently available is Soondoo, obtainable right at the game's start, while the strongest is Mifalcon, which you can acquire at Brum Island's end. However, it's not just about the types of Shadows; their ranks play a crucial role. A Rank A Soondoo can outperform a Rank D Mifalcon. Higher-ranked units have greater leveling potential; for instance, a Rank D unit tops out at Level 75, whereas an SS unit can reach Level 200. Your ultimate goal? Assembling a team of four level SS Mifalcons, but the journey to get there is where the real challenge lies.
Arise Crossover Dungeon Guide

Dungeon Portals in *Arise Crossover* spawn every 30 minutes and remain active for 15 minutes. You can enter a dungeon even if it's about to close, as you'll still be able to complete it. These portals appear at various locations across each island, with randomly assigned difficulty ranks. To kickstart your journey, aim to form a team of Rank D units and tackle a Rank D or C dungeon on Leveling Island. Dungeons are your primary source for recruiting rare and higher-ranked common units.

Whenever a portal spawns, seize the opportunity. If your team isn't strong enough, wait by the portal for a more experienced player to join. Many players can solo dungeons and often don't mind helping others, so take advantage of this community spirit to boost your unit ranks. Remember, dungeon runs are the key to progressing in *Arise Crossover*. We once benefited from a kind player who guided us through a Rank A dungeon with our Rank C units, which helped us recruit Rank A units and reach the endgame. Pay it forward when you can.
Arise Crossover Weapons

In the current Beta phase, weapons in *Arise Crossover* don't significantly impact gameplay. Early on, they might help deal some damage, but their effectiveness quickly diminishes. The Iron Kando Blade, the most powerful common weapon, costs 60 million and deals 516.1K damage, which pales in comparison to your units' millions in damage output. Unless you're willing to spend extravagantly, save your in-game currency for future updates when weapons might become more relevant.
How to Get a Mount in Arise Crossover
Screenshot by The Escapist
Mounts in *Arise Crossover* spawn every 15 minutes, and only one player per server can attempt to claim each mount. A server-wide message alerts players to a new mount's appearance, but not when it's claimed or disappears. Mounts can appear in six different locations, including the back of main islands and smaller islands between them. Check the developer's map for specific spawn points.

You can't claim the same mount more than once, and capture attempts can fail. Flying mounts are the rarest with a 10% spawn rate, ground mounts are more common, and water mounts can be purchased from the Boat Shop NPC. To get a mount, keep an eye out for the server message and race to the spawn locations. While mounts aren't essential for progression, a flying mount can make traveling much more convenient.
That's the essence of *Arise Crossover*. As the game evolves with updates, we'll continue to refine this guide. In the meantime, don't forget to check out the *Arise Crossover* codes for some great freebies.
