Company of Heroes Launches Cross-Platform Multiplayer

Feral Interactive has released a new update for Company of Heroes, introducing cross-platform online multiplayer. Now you can dive into online battles on Android, Nintendo Switch, or iOS. Read on to discover all the details.

You can now team up with as many as three other players, thanks to the new cross-play functionality powered by Feral’s Calico matchmaking service. No matter what platform your friends are using—mobile or Switch—everyone can join the same battlefield.

This update brings cross-play to the Nintendo Switch edition. While mobile players already enjoyed cross-platform battles, Switch players can now join in. The Company of Heroes Collection is available on the Nintendo eShop.

Have You Ever Played Company of Heroes?

Originally created by Relic Entertainment, Company of Heroes is a critically acclaimed real-time strategy game. It’s known for its immersive World War II settings and deep squad-based tactical gameplay.

The game takes you through the European Theater of Operations, beginning with the D-Day landings in Normandy and continuing through key battles like the Falaise Pocket. You can choose to command the US Army or the British 2nd Army for the Allies, or take control of the German Wehrmacht and Panzer Elite for the Axis powers.

On Android, the base game is offered on the Google Play Store. Additional expansions—Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valor—are available as in-app purchases. These expansions are required for online multiplayer, as they provide the maps and units used in competitive modes.

If you haven’t experienced this game yet, now is a great time to try it. The latest Switch update makes the game more accessible and enjoyable for all. In the meantime, stay tuned for our upcoming news about the summer season update for Goddess of Victory: Nikke.
